REGULATORY COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Basic Salary £40,000 – £48,000
Professional Staffing Services is recruiting a really exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to work on a permanent contract for a leading global household name based at their head office in Milton Keynes.
This role is responsible for managing EIMEA wide regulatory compliance of products and associated activities including infrastructure, procedures, and documentation and oversees the Health and Safety regulatory compliance for UK site/s.
As regulatory compliance Manager the role will drive forward the continuous improvement and management of compliance solutions according to business growth. Designing compliance strategy to facilitate future products and markets, and regulatory updates in existing markets. Ensures ongoing maintenance of product data accuracy, compliance and documentation requirements.
Creates and maintains key chemical inventory list, inputting ingredient data and specifications for all formulae sold in the trade block. Reviews data integrity and querying inconsistencies with fillers, maintaining currency of data by liaising with fillers or raw material suppliers.
Generates and maintains a profile of regulatory requirements per country across the trading block, checking our formulations, labeling, packaging marking and packaging complies with all requirements in the region/country it is sold.
Generates and maintains a profile of regulatory requirements per country across the trading block. Confirms that storage, manufacturing and distribution connected with products complies with all regulatory requirements.
Sources and evaluates compliance partners (e.g. Chemical Check) and manages the relationship including reviewing performance in line with the contract.
Knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in a manufacturing/product-based environment(e.g.REACH, DGSA) and ability to implement procedures to meet the requirements to include labeling, chemicals, packaging, etc.
High level of rigor –routinely validates information and checks for errors and corrects information to maintain currency of data–attention to detail.
Knowledge of IT tools and data management integrity and their inter-dependencies including: software tools, and MS Office suite.
Proficient data entry, management and reporting.
·Knowledge of handling chemicals and oils.
Maintain rigorous and accurate data that is verified to a high standard.
Is regarded as a proven and respected internal consultant to others on regulatory compliance.
Collects, researches, reviews and evaluates data from a variety of sources, including networks, internal and external sources, regulatory bodies and industry experts.
Basic Salary up to £48,000 depending on experience
Annual bonus up to 20%
